If you are nursing or pregnant

Do I need to prep my skin for the peel?
If you are prone to hyper-pigmentation you should follow a pre-peel skin care plan for 2 to 4 weeks. This plan can improve results and reduce potential side effects. Your esthetician will tell you whether this is necessary. A two-week preparation does not guarantee you will not have any pigmentation issues arise during your peel, but it decreases your chances considerably.
How to prep dark skin for chemical peel?
You should use melanin inhibitors twice per day at a minimum 2 weeks prior to a chemical peel and ideally 4-6 weeks beforehand — these products slow down melanin production, helping the skin maintain a more even tone and color. Preparation does not guarantee you will not have any pigmentation issues arise during your peel, but it decreases your chances considerably. Consult with your provider.
Can you see results after one peel?
A single treatment session is going to deliver some great results to the skin including improved skin tone, smoother skin texture, and much more! However, if you do have skin concerns such as sun damage, acne scarring or deeper wrinkles, more sessions may be needed to achieve your desired results.
How many applications will it take?
”One and Done" peel myth.”
The truth is that several applications will be needed over the course of weeks, months (or even years) to address skin damage.
Using a chemical peel to get rid of acne, treat acne scars or achieve ageless skin requires repeated use. We wish it were different and that you could do it only once to get results. But like anything in life, it takes effort and consistency to get results. There are no magic results!
A "Treatment Series" is 6-8 peel treatments recommended to get the best results. Many times, more than one treatment series is needed to remove deeper skin problems. After your peel series you can enter into a maintenance mode. Many people move to a monthly or quarterly peel regimen to keep their face looking young over time.
What days are the worst after a chemical peel?
Day three and four are when you will likely experience the worst peeling and flaking. Your skin is most likely to feel uncomfortable these days — and it's also at its most vulnerable.
What to expect after a lactic acid peel?
You can experience Warm sensation with chances of some redness that lasts for a few hours or a couple of days. Highly concentrated peels can lead to skin peeling for the next couple of days.
How to soothe your face after a chemical peel?
After a chemical peel, your skin may feel warm and become sensitive, so staying away from heat and steam will help make you more comfortable. If your face feels warm or slightly irritated, you can apply some cool water to help soothe the skin.
How long will the results last?
Most results are not permanent because our skin continues to age. If you have lots of sun-damaged skin or precancerous skin growths called AKs, you will likely continue to see new spots and growths on your skin.

How does BioRePeel work?
This incredible peel uses a patented 2-phase technology that provides bio-stimulating, revitalizing & a peeling-like effect without the downtime of a traditional peel. Its rich composition sets BioRePeel apart from its competitors. As a result, the combination of active components allows it to effectively prevent the aging of the skin. It has been clinically tested and proven to decrease and or eliminate damage from UV rays, pigmentation, acne and acne scarring. BioRePeel dissolves bonds between the cells and carefully removes the outer most layer of skin, turning over the cells and revealing the glowing smooth new layer of skin underneath. While exfoliating the skin’s surface it also stimulates the Fibroblast cells which are the cells most responsible for the production of collagen and elastin.
Key components include a potent TCA solution for targeting skin texture, scarring, and discoloration; salicylic acid for troubleshooting congested pores and excess oil; tartaric acid for natural brightening; as well as lactobionic acid for boosting intercellular metabolism. Additionally, amino acids and antioxidant vitamins–including Vitamins C and B2–are added to fight free radicals and damage to the skin as a result of UV and other environmental stressors.
The BioRePeel works utilizing biostimulation technology, which encourages the production of collagen and elastin, while also improving cellular turnover. The innovative peel formula helps to exfoliate your top layer of the skin by dissolving the bonds between old, dead, or damaged cells and promoting regeneration. This results in a micro peel effect revealing a new layer of fresh, healthy, and luminous-looking skin.
